I've got short hair now! Before it was shoulder length, but now I've got a boy cut. It's awesome! I have this really, really thick black hair, and it always felt like it was in the way before I got it cut. It was like I was wearing a blanket over my ears or something. But it's all good now. Yay!

Well, I finally worked up the guts to slick my bangs back with hair gel at school. Way, butch-ness! :D All of my guy friends thought my hair was weird, and my friend Hannah told me that I looked kind of like a Vulcan from Star Trek. Huh?

I was talking about what I should do with my hair today while I was in the car with my uncle, my sister, and my brother. (We were going to see Spider-Man 3. But more on that later.) My uncle stopped by Target on the way to the movie, and he bought me some hair gel!

I went and picked up my new glasses a few hours ago. This is my first pair EVER, and I love them! I wore them when my mom drove me home from the eyeglass store, and everything in my neighborhood looked different. I could actually see individual leaves on the trees, instead of a bunch of green blobs. I can see a lot more detail in my surroundings whenever I wear my glasses. Yay!
I have not cut my hair since I was ten. Except for one trimming in eighth grade. That's seven years of unrestricted hair growth, seven years of long wavy brown splitting at the ends from so much combing.
