What's the longest crush you've had that's gone unrequited or untold of?
Please tell me because I think I might go crazy. This is probably the most serious crush I've ever had, too bad I'm a loser XD

I think I had a few other crushes before I knew I was gay, but I don't know for how long.

Then again there was that 1 year gap when I never saw him... That ~1 year time where I didn't think about him... Those ~2 years when I really only found him attractive. Which was only during the school year... so that's really ~1 year.

That leaves... about 1 year of real "crushage" left. Well, not a year exactly... more a quarter of a year...

Wow. Longest crush=Quarter of a year. Learn something new about ourselves every day huh?

I was pretty sure it was 5 years. But typing that I realized there were actually... many times in that 5 years when I didn't have a crush on him. It turns out I only had a crush on him for 1/4 of a year...

I liked him the moment I saw him my junior year, that was back in 2005. I still like him, but understand that we'll never be more than friends.

Not sure how long my crush lasted, he'd know though. Many years.

I wouldn't seek any assurance from people going longer than you, though. Resolution and closure are the best way to proceed.

Err...

Why not? You may choose not to come out to her, tell her, etc., etc., but doesn't mean you can't. That means you have chosen not to, not that you are unable to.
